Full Moon in Taurus Sun in Scorpio

25 degrees, 26 minutes 7:16 am (PST) Sunday, November 17, 2013

This is a deeply emotional and transformative time that is now being intensified by the energy of the Full Moon.  Every emotional planet is somehow being challenged, bringing all of our relationships to the forefront as reflections for us to “win some or learn some” (Jason Mraz).

“Relationship is surely the mirror in which you discover yourself.”
~ Krishnamurti~

The Moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus, meaning that it loves to be here.  This Full Moon brings gentleness and affection into our relationships.  It sparks our desire to be romantic, express creativity, and to slow down and enjoy nature.  This is a soothing place to be after the impulsive and fast pace of the Aries Moon.  The energy of Taurus can be one of stubbornness and a belief that ‘I’m not stubborn, I’m just right’.  If you find yourself thinking this thought, stop and take a deep breath, and listen to the opposing perspective.  You might be surprised at what you would have missed, otherwise.

The Sun is in the sign of Scorpio.  This is a deeply emotional and passionate sign.  Communication is the key to a successful relationship. However, it is difficult for a Scorpion to talk about their feelings.  Taurus and Scorpio are both fixed signs, meaning that they are not naturally flexible and they like to keep things the same.  With this Full Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio, one way that would support relationships is to take a walk in nature and allow the flow of communication to unfold naturally.

At this same time, there is a T-Square configuration involving the Sun, Moon and Neptune (shown in red).  Neptune is the planet of idealism, dreams, visions, spirituality and possibilities.  Because it is in a T-Square with the Sun and Moon, some unexpected conflicts and idealistic differences may come up. Hidden agendas may be revealed, so they can be addressed and possitive choices can made for the highest good of all involved.

This configuration will also show you where you may be out-of-harmony with your ideals and your true Essence.  It will show you where you have been too sympathetic, with a tendency to enable rather than empower.  Also, watch for a tendency towards ‘victim consciousness’.  Take responsibility for your life and choose to live every moment ‘awake’.

The planet Jupiter is in a Trine aspect to the Sun and Saturn. This supports us in expanding our perspectives and applying spiritual wisdom to our lives.  It is a powerful time to create structures that are in harmony with our inner knowing.

Jupiter is also sextile to the Moon and Mars.  This supports success through taking positive actions to resolve our differences through sensitivity, nurturing and treating others as our family.  This will empower everyone involved to realize their greatest potential.

You can maximize your connection with the energy of this Full Moon easily by taking a moment to close your eyes, take in a few deep breaths and open your senses to the beauty of the nature that surrounds us.

Star of David Celestial Alignment

Star of David Celestial Alignment begins July 28th at approximately 10:00 pm (PDT) and continues through July 30th at approximately 8:00 am (PDT)

A celestial Star of David is a rare mystical configuration, involving two planetary triangles (Grand Trines) that interlace with one another.  This is a symbol of spiritual integration, connecting Heaven and Earth – as above, so below.

Star of David

One Grand Trine is in the element of water.  The planets involved are Jupiter and Mars (in Cancer), Saturn (in Scorpio), and Neptune (in Pisces).  This represents expanding spiritual awareness, intuition, sensitivity and emotionality.

The Second Grand Trine is in the element of earth.  The planets involved are the Moon (in Taurus), Venus (in Virgo), and Pluto (in Capricorn).  This represents functional, practical and grounded expression of cosmic energy.

This Star of David is a portal between Heaven and Earth and supports us in grounding spiritual energy into matter.  The way to enter this portal is through our Heart Center.

Because Saturn and Pluto are in this configuration, our spiritual power is greatly enhanced.  This is a profound time for setting your intentions for new creations through Spiritual rituals, prayer, dance, music, writing and meditating.

This is a time of miracles.

“Be like a child – clear,, loving, spontaneous, infinitely flexible and ready each moment to wonder and accept a miracle.” ~ Mother Meera ~

There is a Grand Sextile occurring within this Celestial Star of David configuration.

A sextile is a 60-degree angular relationship between two or more planets. It brings the planets that are involved together to work in harmony in supportive ways. The key words are “work”, “service” and “healing.”

This Grand Sextile is functioning as each of the planets at all six points of this Star of David, are in Sextile Aspects (60-degree angles) to the planets at both points, to the right and left of it.

The Planets in this Grand Sextile

Jupiter is Sextile to Venus and the Moon – bringing harmony and expansion to relationships.

Venus is Sextile to Jupiter and Saturn – supporting creative structures that may involve business, artistic expression, partnerships, social events, travel and foreign cultures.

Saturn is Sextile Venus and Pluto – this is a Miracle aspect infusing Source energy with the physical world. This supports structures and partnerships involving Spirituality and healing. This aspect also supports sacred love.

Pluto is Sextile Saturn and Neptune – this supports structures that serve idealism, imagination, visions, dreams, altruism and healing.

Neptune is Sextile to Pluto and the Moon – this supports emotional, family and personal healing. It will give insights into emotional and family matters.

The Moon is Sextile Neptune and Jupiter – this supports emotional healing, improvements in family and domestic matters.

This Grand Sextile is enhancing the Star of David configuration, solidifying and grounding its full potential. It is up to us to take advantage of the opportunities that this profound alignment brings.

Uranus Square Pluto

This Aspect is reaching its peak intensity from May through November 2013

The Uranus Square Pluto Aspect is the primary energy that represents the profound, radical upsets happening in our world today.  Uranus and Pluto always act to serve the evolution of consciousness.

We are in a time of personal and collective mastery. Humanity entered this powerful transformative cycle, Uranus Square Pluto, in June 2009 and will continue to be in effect through March 2018.  This represents a profound and powerful acceleration of consciousness and changes in collective beliefs.

Uranus is the planet of radical and unexpected change. It liberates us to be our authentic selves. Uranus brings inspiration and awakens us to our inner Truth.  It is in the sign of Aries, which is summoning us to realize and express our individuality for the higher good of all.  Pluto is the planet that purges and transforms all that is unlike the Divine.  It is in the sign of Capricorn, which rules structure, authority, commitments and principles. Pluto is directing us to align our physical world with our highest principles.

As Uranus and Pluto interact with each other, in this Square Aspect, their energies are purging and transforming our world. They catalyze radical transformations of our collective beliefs. It’s time to deeply examine the principles by which we have made commitments and have constructed our world. This includes governments, educational facilities, medical facilities, religious organizations, corporations and so on.  Anything that does not honor or serve the good of all will experience blocks, resistance and upsets.  Any structure that goes against the collective soul of Humanity will be purged and transformed.

On a personal level, there will be a purging of our deep psyches, revealing unconscious beliefs that have been blocking the awareness of our Divinity. A belief is a persistent thought that you keep repeating again and again, until it becomes your reality.

“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change.” (Ghandi)

This is the way of mastery.

We must re-think our habitual ways of being and move beyond “the box”.

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out
how far one can go.” (T.S. Eliot)

It is imperative that we take an honest look at our lives, and ask ourselves these questions:

“What habits or beliefs do I hold that are keeping me from expressing my unique potential?

Do I suppress my intuition and creativity by seeking approval or acceptance from others?

Am I following my own heart, my own inner truth?”

Insights about the metaphysics of the Universe are being revealed to those who have eyes to see, and ears to hear.  The truth about our relationship with the Divine will become more evident through enlightened teachings and personal experiences.  We will discover a deeper Knowing about who we are, and what we truly want.

As we deepen our personal relationship with the Divine, our attachments to dogma will fall away. We will realize that God/Source is within each of us; that We are the One that we have been waiting for; that there is nothing to fear; and that ‘Heaven’ is not a place, it is a state of being.

This Uranus Square Pluto cycle is especially strong NOW through 2014. It will continue to influence each of us in profound ways.  For insights about ‘how’ and ‘where’ Uranus and Pluto are affecting you most directly, look at the Houses where 9 – 11 degrees of Aries and Capricorn are, and any planets in your chart that are 8 – 12 degrees, in any sign.  These are keys to understanding your personal transformational process and soul’s evolution.

Remember: What we are is God’s gift to us; What we become is our gift to God.

Full Moon in Capricorn

Celestial Events from Govinda

2 degrees 10 minutes

4:32 am (PDT)

Full Moons are always in the opposite sign of the Sun and occur at the most intense time of the month.  This opposition brings us an opportunity to see opposing points-of-view, and gives us perspective into our emotional natures. While we may be more intensely aware of other’s ways of being, at the same time there is a tendency to be more critical of them.

The Full Moon, in the sign of Capricorn may feel sluggish after the expansive energy of the Full Moon in Sagittarius, from last month. With Capricorn energy, there is a tendency towards being authoritative, critical and serious.  There is a reigning need to “Be in Control” of every situation.  Playtime may seem frivolous and inefficient, as Capricorn energy is more focused on getting the task done. Try not to take yourself, and life, too seriously during this time.

With this Full Moon, there is a positive Grand Trine configuration, involving the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune.  The energy of this alignment gives us the ability to make commitments and create structures that support our dreams to come into fruition.  It also aids us in finding and organizing peaceful solutions to perceived problems.

Since the Sun is in the sign of Cancer, creating a feeling of family will support a nurturing atmosphere and the desire to resolve differences for the good of all involved.

Here is a closing Capricorn quote from Julie Andrews:

“Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me, it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly.”

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse May 25

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagitarrius

May 24, 2013 at 9:25 pm (PDT), 4 degrees and 8 minutes in the sign of Sagittarius

The Final Eclipse in a Series of Three

We have just completed four weeks of intense eclipse energies that are moving in perfect rhythm and harmony with the Universe.  Energies that were begun during these eclipses will continue to unfold over the next six months, allowing us to be a witness to their creation.

Because energy is constantly changing and expanding, so are we!  We are not limited by money, physical location and other people’s thoughts or opinions.  We are energy.  We expand and grow in any given moment.  We are Spiritual beings in physical bodies.  It’s time to embrace this awareness and be the powerful creators that we are.

The Full Moon in the sign of Sagittarius represents expansion, playfulness, humor, laughter, philosophy, higher understanding, and optimism that can bring more prosperity into our lives.

A Full Moon always opposes the Sun.  In this case, the Sun and Full Moon are both in a Square Aspect to Neptune, creating a ‘T-Square’ configuration.  This may reflect confusion in your significant relationships, perhaps a misunderstanding that may not intentional.  You may find that you had a vision of what your relationship should be, only to find that it was an illusion.  Look for the deeper truth in your relationships.  Be open to communication and ways to resolve, and enhance, your relationships.

At the same time, Uranus is Squaring Pluto, giving us the opportunity to develop Mastery.  (To read more about this cycle, Click Here.)

This Full Moon is in a Trine Aspect to Uranus, bringing expanded awareness and inspiration about our emotional natures.  You will find benefits through friends and group associations.  Participate in spiritual and social functions.  You may be pleasantly surprised at the synchronicity that will ensue.

We are in a Stellium involving Mercury, Venus and Jupiter (all in the sign of Gemini).  This provides us with creative ways of communicating, teaching and learning through expanded understanding.  It also helps us to improve our financial situation, through ideas, communication, travel and foreign cultures.

Astrology is like a Cosmic weather report.  By watching the cycles and seasons, we are more prepared and able to garner the best from each celestial cycle.

Enjoy the season.
